DynaCITY is an EU-funded project developing AI-powered digital twin tools to support evidence-based, accessible and citizen-centred urban planning. The project combines artificial intelligence, local digital twins, immersive XR technologies and participatory design to help cities anticipate, design and evaluate future urban interventions.
AI-powered urban planning for climate-neutral cities
DynaCITY develops a modular, interoperable and privacy-compliant ecosystem that supports planning across mobility, land use, energy, infrastructure, climate resilience and public space. Through five use cases across Heidelberg, Lund/Veberöd, Funchal, Menton/French Riviera and Beirut, DynaCITY will demonstrate how inclusive digital twin solutions can help cities move towards climate neutrality while strengthening citizen trust and cross-sectoral collaboration.
